Should Halloween Be Moved to a Saturday?

By Hannah

Do you think Halloween should be moved to a Saturday? What would happen if the date was changed? Would people have to buy more candy and sit around longer? Or will people stick with what they have now? How would you want it to be?

No, I don't think Halloween should be moved to a Saturday. Kids wouldn't be able to show off their costumes to friends, and adults will have to sit on the porch for the whole day! Adults also have to buy more candy, and that means they have to spend more money on it. They might "close" their houses, and kids won't get as much candy.

No, Halloween should not be moved to a Saturday! If Halloween was on a weekend, kids would not get to dress up in costumes at school and they would not get to play with school friends. Also, if Halloween was on Saturday, trick-or-treaters would be collecting candy at all times of the day! And if children are asking for candy the whole day, adults or other family members will have to sit behind their front door the whole day!
